Do I need RTLS if I already scan barcodes?

Barcodes tell you what was scanned; RTLS tells you where everything is right now — including things nobody scanned. Together they close every gap.

What infrastructure does UWB need?

Anchor beacons installed in the tracked area and tags on forklifts/pallets — MSF delivers the site survey, installation and calibration.

How does the gate know the direction of movement?

Paired scanner logic and label data determine source and destination, so the correct ERP movement type is posted automatically.
